This notice explains what data the StoreCashier Pro WordPress plugin sends to our license server, why, how long we keep it and what your rights are. It covers only the licensing, update and installation-statistics service. Our general website privacy policy is at softwareit.com.bd/privacy-policy.
1. Who is responsible (controller)
Software IT, Bangladesh. E-mail: asik@softwareit.com.bd.
The website owner who installs StoreCashier Pro is the controller for their own shop data (customers, orders, products). None of that shop data is sent to us.

3. What data is sent and stored

We do not collect your shop's customers, orders, products, payment data, passwords, visitor cookies or any other website content. We do not use the data for advertising, do not sell or “share” it (as defined by the CCPA/CPRA), and do not build profiles.
4. Legal bases (GDPR / UK GDPR)
- Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) — license activation, renewal, domain binding, updates and support for customers who bought a license.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — protecting our software against piracy and fraud, keeping the service secure (IP, rate limits), and knowing on how many sites and versions the plugin runs (installation statistics, also for unlicensed installations). We minimise the data and you can stop it at any time (section 7).
- Legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)) — keeping sales and tax records where required.
5. How long we keep it

6. Who receives the data
Our hosting provider, Hostinger, acts as a processor under a data-processing agreement. Nobody else receives the data, unless required by law or to protect our rights (for example, fraud).
International transfers: Software IT is based in Bangladesh, and the license server is operated on our behalf by Hostinger. Where data travels from the EEA or UK to a country without an adequacy decision, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (with the UK addendum where relevant) or other safeguards available under GDPR Chapter V.
7. Your choices
- Don't activate a license → no license data is sent; only installation statistics are sent while the plugin is active.
- Deactivate or delete the plugin → it sends a final deactivated/uninstalled event and stops all communication.
- Ask us to delete or anonymise your installation data (section 8). If you still hold an active license we may need to keep the minimum required to provide it.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, data portability, withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority. California residents have the right to know, delete, correct and to non-discrimination; we do not sell or share personal information. Other laws (for example, LGPD, PIPEDA and Bangladesh law) grant similar rights.
To exercise a right, e-mail asik@softwareit.com.bd from the admin e-mail of the site or include your order number. We answer within 30 days (45 days under the CCPA).
9. Security
Encrypted transport (HTTPS); digitally signed server responses (Ed25519); activation secrets stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM); license-panel access restricted to authorised staff; automatic deletion as in section 5.
10. Children
The service is for website operators and is not directed at children.
11. Changes
We will post changes on this page and update the date above. Material changes are also announced in the plugin changelog.
