StoreCashier Pro License Terms (EULA)

Licensor: Software IT (“we”, “us”), softwareit.com.bd.
Product: StoreCashier Pro WordPress plugin (“the Software”), sold at softwareit.com.bd/storecashier.
Version of these terms: 2.0.

By purchasing, downloading, installing, activating or using the Software you (“Customer”) agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or activate the Software and request a refund under section 10.

1. What you buy

A purchase gives you a license key that entitles you to:

activate the Software on one (1) domain at a time (section 3);
receive updates through the built-in updater while your license is valid;
receive support as described on the product page.

The license key itself is a service credential. It is not transferable except as allowed in section 3.4.

2. Copyright and split licence

2.1 PHP code. All PHP source code of the Software is licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or (at your option) any later version (GPL-2.0-or-later). Nothing in these terms restricts the rights the GPL grants you for that PHP code.

2.2 Non-PHP assets. JavaScript, CSS, images, icons, fonts (where owned by us), documentation, demo content and other non-PHP files are © Software IT, all rights reserved, and are licensed to you — not sold — for use with the Software on your licensed domain only. You may not redistribute, resell or publish these assets on their own or as part of another product.

2.3 Third-party components remain under their own licences (listed in the plugin's readme.txt).

2.4 Trademarks “StoreCashier” and “Software IT” and the logos are not licensed to you, except to identify the Software truthfully.

3. One license = one domain

3.1 A license key can be active on one domain (for example shop.com) at a time. www.shop.com and shop.com count as the same domain. A different sub-domain, port or domain is another domain.

3.2 Re-installing or re-activating on the same domain is always allowed.

3.3 Moving to another domain: first deactivate the license on the old domain (Pro → License page) or from your account at softwareit.com.bd/my-account (open your order → “Deactivate this domain”), then activate it on the new domain. A site copied or moved together with its database to another domain is not licensed there until the license is released and activated again on the new domain.

3.4 You may transfer the license to a new owner of the licensed website by contacting us at asik@softwareit.com.bd.

4. Activation, certificates and online checks

4.1 Activation, updates and support require a valid license. Without a valid activation the Software stays installed, all your data remains readable and exportable, and pages keep rendering, but actions that save or change data inside StoreCashier Pro, and the plugin's public widgets, are unavailable until a license is activated. We never delete, encrypt, corrupt or hold hostage any of your data, and there is no remote “kill switch” for your data or website.

4.2 After activation our server issues a digitally signed certificate. The Software renews it automatically about once a week by contacting our license server. If our server cannot be reached the Software keeps working until the certificate expires (at least 3 days after the normal renewal time). Your server must be able to make outgoing HTTPS requests to softwareit.com.bd and must have a correct clock (within about 10 minutes).

5. Integrity checks and automatic repair (please read)

5.1 The Software contains a list of cryptographic hashes of its own core and licensing files, signed by us. It checks its files against this list periodically and reports the result (pass/fail and the paths of changed plugin files — never file contents) to our license server.

5.2 Automatic repair. If, on a site with a valid activation, these plugin files are found to be modified, the Software may automatically re-install the official, signed StoreCashier Pro package from our server, replacing the modified plugin files with the original ones. This only affects the files of the StoreCashier Pro plugin itself — never your database, settings, orders, products, media, theme or other plugins. By activating a license you consent to this automatic repair. If you need to customise the plugin, use the hooks and filters provided, or contact us.

5.3 On a site without a valid activation, modified files simply keep the Pro features locked (section 4.1); nothing is re-installed.

5.4 Section 5 does not limit your GPL rights to modify the PHP code; it describes how the licensing service (activation, updates, support) behaves when the official files are modified.

6. Restrictions

You may not: (a) share, publish or sell your license key; (b) circumvent the licensing service in order to use the non-PHP assets without a license; (c) use the license service in a way that disrupts it (for example, automated abuse); (d) redistribute the non-PHP assets (section 2.2).

7. Suspension and revocation

We may suspend or revoke a license in case of payment reversal or chargeback, fraud, a refund that was granted, or material breach of these terms. A revoked license stops renewing; the Software then behaves as unlicensed (section 4.1) once the current certificate expires. Your data is never touched.

8. Updates and support

Updates are provided through the WordPress updater for licensed sites for the support and update period stated on the product page. Each update package is verified with a SHA-256 checksum delivered in a signed response before installation.

9. No warranty; limitation of liability

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, to the extent permitted by law (see also sections 11–12 of the GPL). To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, nor any mandatory consumer rights you have in your country.

Keep regular backups of your website.

10. Refunds

Refund requests are handled according to the refund policy shown at checkout and on the product page, and in line with any mandatory consumer rights in your country. A refunded license is revoked (section 7).

11. Termination

These terms apply as long as you use the Software. If they terminate, your license key stops working for activation, updates and support. The GPL rights in section 2.1 are not affected.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh; the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.

13. Changes

We may update these terms for future purchases and updates. The version that applied when you bought or renewed continues to apply to that purchase unless you accept a new version.
