Welcome to Software IT (“we,” “our,” “us,” “Company”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your purchase and use of digital products, including but not limited to the SmartStock WordPress/WooCommerce plugin and any other software products (“Products”) offered on this website, https://softwareit.com.bd (“Website”).
By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using any Product, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use our Products.

2. Products Sold
We sell digital software products for WordPress and WooCommerce, including plugins such as SmartStock. All Products are delivered electronically (downloadable files, license keys, and/or documentation). No physical goods are shipped.
3. Payment Processing
All payments on this Website are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited (“Paddle”), acting as our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. This means:
- Your order is placed with Paddle, and Paddle handles billing, invoicing, VAT/sales tax collection, and payment security.
- Paddle’s own Buyer Terms apply to the payment transaction itself, in addition to these Terms.
- Your billing information (card details, billing address) is collected and processed directly by Paddle. We do not store or have access to your full payment card details.
4. License Grant
Upon successful payment, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the purchased Product, subject to the license scope stated on the product page at the time of purchase (for example, number of live/production website domains covered). Unless otherwise stated:
- The license is for use on the number of domains/sites specified in your purchase (e.g., a “Single Site License” covers one live production website).
- You may use the Product on unlimited local/staging/development installations tied to the licensed site.
- The license does not transfer ownership of the Product’s source code, design, or intellectual property to you.
5. Restrictions
You may not:
- Resell, sublicense, rent, lease, or redistribute the Product (or any modified version of it) as a standalone product, whether for free or for payment, without our prior written consent.
- Claim authorship of the Product or remove/alter copyright and license notices embedded in the code.
- Use the Product for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Paddle’s Acceptable Use Policy.
- Share your license key or purchase credentials with third parties beyond the licensed use.
6. Updates and Support
- Product updates (bug fixes, compatibility updates, feature updates) are provided free of charge for the support period stated on the product page at the time of purchase (commonly 6 or 12 months from the purchase date), unless stated otherwise.
- Technical support (installation help, bug fixes, usage questions) is provided for the same support period through our support channel: https://softwareit.com.bd/support/.
- Support does not cover custom development, third-party plugin/theme conflicts unrelated to our Product, or modifications you have made to the Product’s code.
- After the support period expires, you may renew support/updates separately, or continue using the last version you downloaded without further updates.
7. Intellectual Property
All Products, including their source code, design, documentation, and branding, are the intellectual property of Software IT or its licensors and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. Purchasing a Product grants you a license to use it as described above — it does not transfer ownership of the underlying intellectual property.
8. Refunds
Refunds are handled in accordance with our separate Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Products are provided “as is” and “as available.” While we test our Products before release, we do not guarantee that the Product will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every third-party theme, plugin, hosting environment, or server configuration. You are responsible for testing the Product in a staging environment before deploying it to a live site.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Software IT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — arising from the use or inability to use any Product, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to a Product shall not exceed the amount you paid for that Product.
11. Third-Party Services
Our Products may integrate with third-party services (for example, WooCommerce, or payment gateways such as Paddle). We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or policies of these third-party services.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of a Product after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh, without prejudice to any statutory consumer rights you may have in your own country as a Paddle buyer.
